New York, New York. — The Tranquility Report

Now that it’s officially 2017……I finally toughen up and decided to write my first blog post since I moved to New York. Many may ask, “How are you liking New York?”, and my answer is always “It’s a complicated relationship. I love it because it’s New York, and I hate it because it’s New York.” The other day I read a quote on @overheardnewyork, an Instagram account that documented New Yorker’s random conversation on the street, and it went like this-” Living in New York is like having Stockholm Syndrome. It beats you into submission until you love it.” And I 100% agreed.

時間一晃眼就來到了2017，搬來紐約也快五個月了，研究所忙碌的程度讓我完全沒有時間思考拍照分享，最近放寒假我終於找到一些精神好好地來寫我的第一篇文。好多人問我：「喜歡紐約嗎？」我的回答總是：「一言難盡：喜歡，因為天啊這是紐約！討厭，因為天啊這是紐約....」前幾天在一個IG（@overheardnewyork）上看到一段話我覺得再真實不過：「住在紐約就像得了斯德哥爾摩症候群一樣，她讓你屈打成招，然後不知道為什麼，你就愛上她了。」

New York winter is harsh, but yet it’s also the most beautiful thing in the world. I live really close to central park (I know I got lucky＝Ｐ), and walking in the park when it’s 21 Fahrenheit (-5 Celsius) outside, it’s got to be one of the most excruciating yet mesmerizing experience I’ve ever had- remember where I came from, it’s literally 75 degrees all year long! Given that, I am not ashamed, actually almost PROUDLY, to say that I am wearing two layers of everything. Never thought I’d love Uniqlo’s HeatTech so much that I basically live in them now.

紐約的冬天很苦，但紐約的冬天大概也是世界上最美麗的一件事了。我很幸運，住在離中央公園步行大約五分鐘的距離。去拍照的那天外面大概是一個-5度的低溫（比冰箱還冷），那個風吹在臉上有如天然肉毒讓你整個臉崩到不行，毛孔小到要用放大鏡才看得到！這種時候最讓我想念台灣了，好想邊流鼻水邊大吃一碗熱騰騰的紅燒牛肉麵啊！

Those of you who know me probably already know that I generally like to keep things very simple, today I am wearing a pair of skinny jeans, ankle boots, white sweater, and a winter coat that I inherited from my fabulous mom! 認識我的人大概都知道我喜歡極簡的風格，今天的造型我穿了牛仔煙管褲、短靴、白色翻領毛衣、還有一件家母傳給我的黑色大衣。一直喜歡這種簡單卻不失造型的風格，偷偷告訴你們我最近熱愛Uniqlo的發熱衣和發熱褲，真是史上最棒的一大發明，可以偷偷穿在裡面假勇，畢竟姐已經過了妹子不怕冷的年紀了XD。小小分享，大家下回見！
